It’s sad that other companies try to fool others by trying to be something (or someone) that they’re not. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; however, when it comes to someone’s very special day, or a corporate event going for the best, or even a backyard party, it doesn’t sit right with us that other companies are using KC Photobooth (or some form of our name) as a way to trick potential clients into thinking they are us.

Be sure you’re getting the REAL KC Photobooth! There seem to be many crazy photobooth companies out there who are trying to fool you into thinking they are KC Photobooth. There is only one KC Photobooth, and that’s us! Be sure to ask for Patty or Adam to be sure that you are getting the very best photobooth in Kansas City! Having been the first authentic photobooth company in KC, and now in our 5th year of business, we have the experience and know-how to make your event unforgettable. Last night, we had the pleasure of providing two photobooths for the Lupus Foundation’s 5th Annual Celebrity Fashion Show. The night was coupled with honoring retired Kansas City Chief Eddie Kennison. Guests of the evening hopped in our photobooths as we created a well-wishes book for Eddie throughout the night.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! The fashion show at the end of the night featured butterflies (the icon of the Lupus Foundation), Kansas City Chiefs players, and even KU Basketball players (Tyshawn Taylor, Thomas Robinson, Travis Releford, and even Big Jay himself!). Everyone had a great time! Congratulations on your retirement, Eddie!

We had a blast at The Big Reveal yesterday! It was great getting to talk to so many brides, family members, friends, vendors, and so many other people! We’ll get some pictures up as soon as we can!

We’re debuting our newest product offering! AND we’re beginning our FACEBOOK contest! However, you MUST come by our booth at the Bridal Spectacular and take a picture in our photobooth to enter the contest!

We found out today that KC Photobooth has been selected by The Knot as a “Best of Weddings 2011″ vendor!! We were also told that this is the FIRST TIME that a photobooth has been selected for a “Best of Weddings”!

Here at KC Photobooth, we love what we do! It’s not just a photobooth business to us; we want to add a touch of something different to any special event, be it a bride’s special day, a corporate party, a tradeshow, and even birthday and anniversary parties. We’ve grown with experience here at KC Photobooth, and the smiles that we see in the photostrips is reason enough for us to keep going with what KC Photobooth introduced to the Kansas City area more than three years ago!

It’s always nice when family friends come to you to help make their wedding day special. Tanya and Mike chose Lake Quivira Country Club for their wedding reception. Mike has known Patty since he played baseball with Patty’s son growing up, and the bond has been there ever since. KC Photobooth had so much fun adding to Tanya and Mike’s special day! They just might take the cake on how many times a bride and groom showed up in the photobooth pictures! Tanya looked amazing in her gown from Bridal Extraordinaire, Icing on the Cake didn’t disappoint on the cake, and Good Earth Florals did a fabulous job on the flowers. All in all, it was a great day for a family friend.

Breanne and Eric took KC Photobooth back to the Blue Springs Elks Lodge for their reception. Having been there before, we knew the potential for fun! And did their guests ever have it?! It was a night filled with cupcakes, dancing, photostrips, and so much more! Their cupcake bar contained six different cupcake flavors, including Mexican Hot Chocolate and Banana Caramel! They encouraged their guests, after leaving the cupcake bar, to be sure to visit the photobooth and make “some sweet memories or your own”! How fun?! Their fourth frame customization was a continuation of a monogram they had used throughout the entire wedding planning – it helped tie everything together even more!

Jennifer and Jake selected a reception site that will forever hold a special place in the heart of those behind KC Photobooth – The Hawthorne House. The Hawthorne House was where Adam and Whitney (Patty’s daughter) got married; it was Adam and Whitney’s wedding that prompted Patty to purchase the first photobooth, starting KC Photobooth down the amazing journey we’ve been on!

But, back to Jennifer and Jake! We first met them at Michael Nolte’s “WHITE”, an annual bridal show where you can meet the top wedding professionals in Kansas City. Michael Nolte was the wedding planner, and everything was exquisite! The centerpieces were spectacular, incorporating tall florals and candles into the tablescapes. Everyone had a great time, and the photobooth pictures were awesome! Check ‘em out!

Jennifer and Stewart took KC Photobooth back to one of our favorite weddings venues – Deer Creek Golf Club! We absolutely love working with Linda, John, and their fantastic team! Jennifer and Stewart spoke to our hearts when we first met them. We love teachers, and since both of them are in the education arena, as well as a golf and football coach, we just couldn’t say no! Their guests had so much fun creating a photo guestbook that Jennifer and Stewart will be able to look at forever and know that their guests had a great time celebrating their lives being joined together.
