Well, the whole reason that KC Photobooth exists was today. Some of you know that we were planning Whitney and Adam’s wedding when we decided to purchase a photobooth and rent it for weddings and other events. Everything was beautiful and perfect!
First, I would like to thank all of our vendors:
Amore Bridal and Tuxedo Atlantic Express
Be Seated Branches & Twigs
Bridal Extraordinaire Brio Tuscan Grille
Caren’s Cakes Cheree Berry Paper
Dawn’s Designer Jewelry Fontana
Hawthorne House Kairos Moment Wedding Films
Mark Leonard Photography Par Exsalonce Salon & Day Spa
Pech Limousine You’re Invited – Kim Ho
7th Row – Staci Broski KC Photobooth
The weekend began with the best rehearsal dinner anyone could ever imagine at the Brio Tuscan Grille, endorsed by the bride’s grandfather who is a gourmet chef and pretty darn hard to please.
The next morning we arrived at the Hawthorne House and Staci Broski with 7th Row began her magic. Did you know she has done makeup for movies? I needed some special effects and she was up to the task. Anyone out there planning a wedding and needing a venue, check out the Hawthorne House. They are wonderful to work with and it is such a beautiful setting. They made every step of the planning so easy for us. What a blessing! Ofcourse, Shauna and Mark Leonard with Mark Leonard Photography were there capturing every moment of the day. I’ve seen the proofs and I cannot wait to be holding the final product. Shauna and Mark take such love and care with every wedding they shoot. And then the dresses from Amore and Bridal Extraordinaire…incredible. The jewelry was the perfect accent. The bridesmaids jewelry was from Dawn’s Designer Jewelry, mine and Whitney’s was from Amore and Nordstrom’s.
The cake and the florals were breathtaking! We wanted a unique look and Caren with Caren’s Cakes and Andrea with Branches & Twigs did not disappoint.
Fontana provided the perfect music backdrop to put an exclamation point to an elegant wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, the torch was passed to Atlantic Express to provide the music for the reception. I knew we were going to love them, but oh my goodness, the guests, whether they danced or just sat and listened, LOVED THEM!! We received so many compliments on Atlantic Express that I want to plan another party!
What’s an exit without a 1954 Bentley? What a beautiful car!
You know, Whitney and I intended to plan and execute the entire wedding. I had worked with Kim Ho on a couple of weddings and she suggested that we at least use her company for the day of the wedding so we could enjoy the day. About one week before the wedding, we decided she was right. Was she ever right!!! I don’t know what I was thinking. There is no way I would have enjoyed my daughter’s wedding as much as I did without the help of You’re Invited and especially Kim Ho.
I can’t wait to relive the evening when we view the video from Peter Chung at Kairos Wedding Films. I’ve seen a sneak preview and it was awesome. The best part…the images captured by Mark & Shauna Leonard Photography and Kairos Wedding Films will help us relive that very special day over and over again. (Not to mention the awesome photostrips in the photo guestbook. I must say the guests at this wedding came prepared to be creative in the photobooth!)
The day would not have been the same without these fabulous vendors. We could not have imagined a more perfect group of people to help us plan and enjoy our daughter’s wedding. And, oh the fun everyone had in the photobooth. Whitney could not wait until she could see her photo guestbook. So, we should also thank our wonderful guests for making such wonderful memories. Can we do it all again?
Patty
