Katie and Paul had their Kansas City reception at the Lake Quivira Country Club. KC Photobooth provided two photobooths for their reception so the guests would not have to wait to use the photobooth. The guests kept both photobooths busy all night. Since we had two photobooths there, we sent an extra on site coordinator, me, to help Paul and Jena.
The wedding coordinator, Heidi, performed a magnificient job! From the many weddings that I have been involved with, I do believe she went above and beyond. She even made some of the table linens!
The florals were gorgeous, the candy bar was very popular, and the band was outstanding.
Lake Quivira Clubhouse Ballroom is a beautiful venue and the view of the water is breathtaking.
Heidi brought plastic sleeves with ribbon and “thank you” stickers to put the guests’ photostrips in which made a great favor. We liked the idea so much, we’ve started providing the same service for all of our brides.
We were so pleased to be a part of such a magnificient event!
Today we went to the Riverfront Community Center in Leavenworth, Kansas for Tina and Nicholas’s wedding reception. Our on site coordinators were Angie and Lisa. This is a very cool venue. If you’ve never seen it, you should. It used to be a train station. It has very cool pictures of a time gone by.
Berry Good provided the music and video. These guests were prepared to have a good time and they did! When we arrived to take the photobooth, the party was going strong with plans to move on to another location. Tina even invited us to come along to keep the party going!
It’s so much fun providing a photobooth for people who truly enjoy it and appreciate having it. One really cool thing – the bride had a photostrip with some friends from several years ago that they used to recreate the poses in our photobooth. It was a great reception!

What a great wedding reception! The Berg Event Space provides a great venue for a reception! Paul and Jena were our on site coordinators and they gave the DJ two thumbs up. The guests really enjoyed the photostrips and Amanda, the bride, had acquired the coolest photo tree from CB2 that they used to display some of the photostrips. I liked them so much, I ordered some to use at our Bridal Shows.
Amanda is a very talented bride. She provided the graphic design for the customized 4th frame on each of the photostrips. I have to say it is my favorite customization ever! She also arranged her own centerpieces. They were beautiful.
The photobooth provided entertainment all night long.

Well, the whole reason that KC Photobooth exists was today. Some of you know that we were planning Whitney and Adam’s wedding when we decided to purchase a photobooth and rent it for weddings and other events. Everything was beautiful and perfect!
First, I would like to thank all of our vendors:
Amore Bridal and Tuxedo Atlantic Express
Be Seated Branches & Twigs
Bridal Extraordinaire Brio Tuscan Grille
Caren’s Cakes Cheree Berry Paper
Dawn’s Designer Jewelry Fontana
Hawthorne House Kairos Moment Wedding Films
Mark Leonard Photography Par Exsalonce Salon & Day Spa
Pech Limousine You’re Invited – Kim Ho
7th Row – Staci Broski KC Photobooth
The weekend began with the best rehearsal dinner anyone could ever imagine at the Brio Tuscan Grille, endorsed by the bride’s grandfather who is a gourmet chef and pretty darn hard to please.
The next morning we arrived at the Hawthorne House and Staci Broski with 7th Row began her magic. Did you know she has done makeup for movies? I needed some special effects and she was up to the task. Anyone out there planning a wedding and needing a venue, check out the Hawthorne House. They are wonderful to work with and it is such a beautiful setting. They made every step of the planning so easy for us. What a blessing! Ofcourse, Shauna and Mark Leonard with Mark Leonard Photography were there capturing every moment of the day. I’ve seen the proofs and I cannot wait to be holding the final product. Shauna and Mark take such love and care with every wedding they shoot. And then the dresses from Amore and Bridal Extraordinaire…incredible. The jewelry was the perfect accent. The bridesmaids jewelry was from Dawn’s Designer Jewelry, mine and Whitney’s was from Amore and Nordstrom’s.
The cake and the florals were breathtaking! We wanted a unique look and Caren with Caren’s Cakes and Andrea with Branches & Twigs did not disappoint.
Fontana provided the perfect music backdrop to put an exclamation point to an elegant wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, the torch was passed to Atlantic Express to provide the music for the reception. I knew we were going to love them, but oh my goodness, the guests, whether they danced or just sat and listened, LOVED THEM!! We received so many compliments on Atlantic Express that I want to plan another party!
What’s an exit without a 1954 Bentley? What a beautiful car!
You know, Whitney and I intended to plan and execute the entire wedding. I had worked with Kim Ho on a couple of weddings and she suggested that we at least use her company for the day of the wedding so we could enjoy the day. About one week before the wedding, we decided she was right. Was she ever right!!! I don’t know what I was thinking. There is no way I would have enjoyed my daughter’s wedding as much as I did without the help of You’re Invited and especially Kim Ho.
I can’t wait to relive the evening when we view the video from Peter Chung at Kairos Wedding Films. I’ve seen a sneak preview and it was awesome. The best part…the images captured by Mark & Shauna Leonard Photography and Kairos Wedding Films will help us relive that very special day over and over again. (Not to mention the awesome photostrips in the photo guestbook. I must say the guests at this wedding came prepared to be creative in the photobooth!)
The day would not have been the same without these fabulous vendors. We could not have imagined a more perfect group of people to help us plan and enjoy our daughter’s wedding. And, oh the fun everyone had in the photobooth. Whitney could not wait until she could see her photo guestbook. So, we should also thank our wonderful guests for making such wonderful memories. Can we do it all again?
