Amanda & DarrenAmanda and Darren selected the Hilton Garden Inn in Independence for their reception.  We love the Hilton Garden Inn!

Amanda and Darren sent us a great engagement picture for us to us for their fourth frame.  This is a great choice since one of the two photostrips that prints goes home with your guests.  By using a picture of the bride and groom, each photostrip is even more personalized for their favor.

Now, I must report that Darren is the only person I’ve ever met that can “impersonate” a mosquito.  He did this during the visit to our office to take pictures for the large photostrip to personalize the photobooth for the reception.  Everyone at the reception had the opportunity to view the mosquito since it was one of the four favorites that Amanda and Darren chose.

When we arrived to pick up the photobooth, their guests were still very busy having a great time taking pictures so the on site coordinators, Jena & Paul, directed my attention to the groom’s cake.  I wish we had a picture of it.  Oh my gosh!  It looked exactly like a grill with a steak and burgers on top.  Incredible!

Amanda and Darren are a great couple, below are just a few of the photostrips taken at their reception.

Anja & AlejandroAnja and Alejandro were married in Germany, Anja’s native country, which allowed for some of the most beautiful guest favors I’ve seen.  Anja brought back hand blown glass figurines of different animals.  Very beautiful, very unique.

The Kansas City reception was held at Loose Mansion.  Loose Mansion is beautiful and historic.  A perfect setting for an international affair.  We’ve been there several times, but every time is very special.  The staircase just draws your attention right away.  We set up near the staircase and use an existing table for the photo guestbook which places us very near the wedding cake.  Anja and Alejandro had a beautiful wedding cake covered in chocolate covered strawberries.  Very tempting for our on site coordinators, Adam and Whitney.

Whitney and Adam reported a very sweet addition to the reception when three girls presented different talents to the guests.  One girl presented a drawing, another presented a poem and the third presented a song in spanish.  What a fabulous way to create uniqueness to your wedding reception!  Another way…provide a photobooth for your guests to express themselves.  This idea we have to give credit to the groom’s mother, Meri.  Check it out.

Chelsey & ChrisChelsey and Chris are a great couple!  I fell in love with this couple when they came to take pictures for their large photostrip.  They are just so cute together!

Chelsey and Chris chose the Gladstone Community Center for their reception.  This is facility looks brand new and the staff are excellent.  Chelsey’s family transformed the hall with florals and lights.  It was truly beautiful.

Chelsey is an art teacher and Chris is a music teacher.  They were very creative together when they came over to the office to take pictures for the large photostrip.  It was one of the best photostrips ever!

They invited all of the guests to wear flip flops, so the on site coordinators, Lisa and Paula, wore flip flops as well.  I spoke to the bride’s mother and grandmother for quite a while at the end of the reception.  This is what family is all about, what love!

bg5Andrea and Ian were married at the Liberty United Methodist Church.  The reception was immediately following the ceremony in the Fellowship Hall.  Andrea was one of my daughter’s roommates in college, so ofcourse this was a very special reception.

Andrea and Ian are such a sweet couple.  As a matter of fact, you may see them at some of our upcoming events as on site coordinators.  The ceremony was a perfect celebration of love.  The reception was a perfect celebration of family and friends.

All of the guests were invited to enjoy the photobooth with our on site coordinators, Angie and Christin.  And they did.  See below…

Kellie & ScottThe Ballroom in the Hilton President is magnificient!  The first thing I noticed was the beautiful floor when I arrived to survey the space for this wedding, followed almost immediately by the incredible chandeliers.  Oh my goodness!  It is no wonder that Kellie and Scott chose to celebrate their wedding and reception in this magnificient space.

Studio Dan Meiners provided the design team for the wedding and the reception.  The altar was distinquished with candles attached to an upholstered backdrop.  The aisle was adorned with beautiful florals.  It was breathtaking!

The guests adjourned to the Mezzanine level for cocktails while the room was transformed for the reception.  The tables were awesome!  Seems silly probably, but I loved the chargers!  Everything was perfection, especially the bride and groom, Kellie and Scott.

All of the guests enjoyed sharing photostrips with the photo guestbook right outside the ballroom.  Adam and Whitney were the on site coordinators for the evening.  As you can see below, the photobooth is popular with all ages….

Asa & Staceyasa-stacey1Stacey and Asa were married at the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs and the reception was downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.  When we arrived to deliver the photobooth, Stacey took me downstairs to show me the decorations and the Candy Bar.  There were several pictures of Stacey and Asa including some of the photostrips that they took at our office for the large photostrip that we use to personalize the photobooth for the reception.

Stacey and her mother, Angela, worked very hard to plan this day and they did a fantastic job!

The on site coordinators, Angie and Christin, had a great time with all of the guests in the photobooth.  Stacey and Asa designed the fourth frame and emailed it to me to load on the photobooth computer.  I love it when people take such an interest in the details of their wedding.  It makes everything so special.

This was a great celebration of Asa and Stacey’s love for each other and of their family.

Lacey & JoeLacey & JoeWhat a fabulous reception venue!  This was a new one for us, the Cerner Riverport Landing.  You may remember it as Sam’s Town from several years ago.  I had no idea it was still there, much less available for events.  If you’re looking for a unique venue, this is it.  Lacey and Joe chose this magnificient venue and had an incredible wedding reception!  The staff at the Riverport Landing was very accomodating and professional.  I was thoroughly impressed.

We had a separate room for the photobooth, but it quickly became a destination.  Jen and Kate, the onsite coordinators, reported an active photobooth all night long.  Lacey and Joe decided to forego the customized fourth frame and give their guests all four pictures on the photostrips.  Very popular decision!

The Argosy Casino celebrated their 15th birthday on June 26th.  They had an employee appreciation birthday party and provided a buffet with games and the photobooth.  To make sure all shifts were able to enjoy the celebration, the party was scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM and end at midnight.  That’s a lot of pictures!  We’re just showing a sample.  Happy Birthday Argosy!  We had a great time!

Samantha & BrettSamantha and Brett celebrated their wedding at Californos in Westport.  This was our first visit to Californos.  Inside there are multiple levels which adds a lot of interest.  This is a really cool venue that you should consider.  They also have bridal shows about four times a year so you check it out on their website.

Delivery of a photobooth does present a bit of a challenge.  There are stairs everywhere….but we made it!  Up and across and in.

Lisa and Jen were the on site coordinators for this reception.  They had a great time with some fantastic guests.  You know weddings are just fun and a photobooth helps facilitate the fun!

Here we go…

Jessica & CaleJessica and Cale are such a sweet couple.  Jessica wanted a photobooth for her wedding reception so much…we were happy to make her dream come true.  We had such a great time when Jessica and Cale came to the office for pictures for the large photostrip.  I could see how much they love each other immediately.

Jessica and Cale chose the Holiday Inn Holidome in Lawrence for their reception.  Jen and Derek were the on site coordinators and the guests kept them busy the entire reception.  They were still taking pictures when we arrived for the pick up.  Most of the guests said they had never even heard of having a photobooth at a wedding reception.  They loved the idea.  Great entertainment for the guests!
