Studio Dan Meiners hosted the Grand Opening for their new event space on June 11th from 11am-9pm and KC Photobooth was there to capture the fun! So much was going on!

-DJ Anthony Nigro with KC Event Sounds

We brought two photobooths for everyone to enjoy: one of our original photobooths and one extended photobooth! Check out the difference in pictures! The extended photobooth is just big enough to allow a little more space for extra people/poses, yet small enough to maintain the feel of a real photobooth experience!

We’ve had a few well known people take pictures in our photobooths before (Congressman Dennis Moore, David Cook’s Brother, etc.) but this one tops the charts. Joshua Jackson (The Fringe, Dawson’s Creek, Urban Legends, The Mighty Ducks, etc.) and Diane Kruger (National Treasure 1 & 2, Troy, etc.) attended a wedding on June 5th at Oakwood Country Club and took some great pictures in the photobooth! Check them out!

Jenny & Kevin had their wedding reception at the Hilton President! Their wedding coordinator was Holly with Simple Elegance. We have worked with Simple Elegance on multiple events and they are always simply awesome. Of course, this event was no exception! Jenny’s favorite color is obviously yellow – there was a LOT of yellow in the decor, complete with a completely yellow candy bar! Instead of a traditional cake, they opted for cupcakes! The DJ was Danny Goyer with Elite Encore Entertainment (one of our favorite DJs!).

Congratulations, Jenny & Kevin!

Brooke & Brad had their wedding reception at home in Bucyrus, KS overlooking a lake and a beautiful sunset: Beautiful! They set up a tent in the driveway, had a live band (Cherry Bomb) playing from one garage and the catered BBQ buffet and the photobooth going in the other garage! It was HOT but the guests and especially the Bride & Groom had a great time out on the dance floor and in the photobooth. Cherry Bomb was excellent, playing music of all different genres, from Lady Gaga to KC and the Sunshine Band!

Gabriel & Aaron had their reception at the Oakwood Country Club. The decor was fantastic! Studio Dan Meiners did an exceptional job! Take a look at all the pictures they have from events they have done and you’ll see what I’m talking about. WOW. Exceptional floral design and event coordination. Let’s just say that I want to be invited to a Dan Meiners wedding just to experience it!

The guests took a lot of great pictures in the photobooth; they certainly had plenty of time – we were there for the entire 5.5 hour reception!

Congratulations, Gabriel & Aaron!

Megan & Thad had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hawthorne House. The cake was provided by Caren’s Cakes: delicious as always! She also created a Groom’s cake inspired by the Groom’s favorite Shaved Ice place in Hawaii, where Megan & Thad will be spending their honeymoon! The wedding colors were purple and pearl, representing pancreatic cancer and lung cancer. Family members of Megan & Thad had pancreatic and lung cancer, so it was important to them to represent them.

You may notice that a lot of the pictures include one person. His name is Kyle (Brother of the Groom) and he was on a quest to have the best photostrip of the night. I think he succeeded. He ALSO succeeded in beating our standing record of 15 trips to the photobooth.

Jessica & Justin had their wedding reception at the Deer Creek Golf Club. The flowers were provided by Rosemary Clyde, the Mother of the Bride and owner of Final Touch Studios. Everyone had a blast in the photobooth and took some awesome pictures.

Julie & Blake had their wedding reception at The Hobbs Building. The photobooth was setup in the courtyard outside, but had to be moved inside part of the way through the reception for fear of rain. The wedding reception was beautiful and the guests took some awesome pictures in the photobooth!
