Lara & Bradley had their wedding reception at Terrace on Grand. The wedding ceremony took place on the roof of the building and, considering the heat, they kept it short and sweet! The rest of the night was spent enjoying delicious food, cake, dancing and photobooth! Check out these pictures!
Congratulations, Lara & Bradley!

Karree & Chris had their (second) wedding reception at Longview Mansion! They were married in March at the Grand Cayman Islands and planned this reception to celebrate with the family and friends that were unable to attend the first wedding reception! So as to give everyone a taste of their wedding ceremony, large framed photos from the ceremony were displayed. The cake was provided by the Bridal Kitchen and the flowers were provided by Blue Springs Bouquet!
Congratulations, Karree and Chris!

Stephanie & Peter had their wedding reception at the Mission Hills Country Club. We know Stephanie’s mom from church, so many of the people in the pictures are friends. What a fun evening! I believe a few of the pictures would have the caption “Deacons Gone Wild!”.
Stephanie & Peter also opted to have the lit sign with their names attached to the top of the photobooth! What a great way to personalize the photobooth and draw attention to it, so everyone remembers to get in on the fun!
Check these out!

Kristen & Ryan had their wedding reception at the Vox Theater. This was our first time being to the Vox Theater! This is a pretty new venue; it opened within the last couple of months, so check it out!
Kristen & Ryan had a large monogram wall hanging to decorate the space. Their colors of red and black, which went very well with the large red velvet drapes covering the stage.
Congratulations, Kristen & Ryan!

Kaylee & Trevor had their wedding reception at home in Lane, KS. A tent was set up for the reception and the photobooth was placed in the boat house. Having a wedding at home is such a great idea, as long as you have the right amount of space. What better place to make wonderful memories with all of your friends and family and celebrate you being husband and wife!
Congratulations, Kaylee & Trevor!
Here are a few of the best pictures…

In other news…one of our on-site coordinators got engaged the night before working this event! Congratulations to Meggan & Mark!!

Melissa & Nick had their wedding reception at the Kansas State University Alumni Center in Manhattan, KS. The Bride and Groom recently graduated from KSU Veterinary School. It was a very medically minded family: the sister of the Bride just graduated from KU Medical School, a brother of the Groom was in residency for Anesthesiology and a younger brother will be started Vet School in the fall!
Melissa & Nick also asked their guests to help them name the farm that they recently bought. The escort cards were adorable! They were homemade cards with butterfly paper and they were hung from two trees.
Apart from all the great photobooth pictures, the most interesting part of the evening was a party crasher. Take note: the Alumni Center in on the KSU campus. During the cocktail hour, I spotted a man who seemed awfully underdressed for the occasion: Bright orange t-shirt, worn khaki shorts, and sandals with socks that didn’t match. He walked through the room, making a bee-line for the appetizers, grabbed a mojito (their signature drink), and talked to no one. Interesting… When he started writing on the framed picture of the Bride and Groom that guests were writing notes of congratulations, I wondered if he was even a guest. And as soon as he entered, he fled the building, Mojito in hand.
Later, they displayed the picture of the Bride and Groom and we found what he wrote: “Just a stranger passing through. I saw a lot going on and decided to check it out. Thanks for the free snacks and booze.” And he signed it with his email address.
Isn’t the point of a party crasher to go unnoticed? Take the free snacks and drinks, if you must. But don’t write on the picture of the Bride and Groom! They actually wanted to keep that. Nice.
Check out these great pictures taken by guests who were actually invited…

Lee’s Summit West had an event called Project Graduation for the 2010 Graduating Seniors on Sunday night after Graduation. It was held at Sports City in Blue Springs and it started at 10PM and lasted until 3AM!! The students really enjoyed the photobooth, as well as other attractions: Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Football, Video Arcade, Sumo Wrestling, Human Velcro Wall, Bungee Run, a hypnotist and Mix 93.3 DJ Steve Serrano! Plenty of sugar, caffiene, pizza and donuts kept the graduates going early into the morning! It was a lot of fun…but sleep felt pretty good afterward!

Ashley & Matt had their wedding reception at Union Station. This was the first wedding that we used our new expanded photobooth! The booth is longer, allowing more people to get in the pictures and more space for great pictures!
The decor for Ashley & Matt’s reception was done by All Seasons Tent Rental…and they did a GREAT job. Bolts of fabric were hung from the ceiling around the street lamps provided by Union Station. In the evening, they looked like huge columns of light! The linens were specially made for this wedding. There were round as well as square tables for the guests. Fiddly Fig did an excellent job with the florals! When the guests arrived they had a cocktail hour stationed in the first 1/3 of the room and when the reception began, a veil of fabric was drawn back, reveiling the rest of the room set up for the reception. Beautiful!!
Congratulations, Ashley & Matt!
