September 24, 2010 ~ Codi & Derek

September 27th, 2010

Codi and Derek had KC Photobooth take part in their reception at Longview Mansion. The mansion looked amazing all decked out in navy and leaf green; you could tell that a lot of planning, dedication, and hard work went into every detail of their wedding! Bassett Photography was there to capture the day in picture format, Complete Music kept the guests going with numerous Scavenger Hunts throughout the evening, and KC Photobooth, complete with our Lighted Sign on top, had the guests hoppin’ with photostrips while they created a photo guestbook for Codi and Derek that they’ll cherish forever!

The photobooth was definitely a hit, and we couldn’t have been happier to be a part of such a cute couple’s special day! Congratulations, Codi and Derek!

September 23, 2010 ~ Deer Creek Open House

September 24th, 2010

KC Photobooth always loves going to Deer Creek Golf Club for their Bridal Open Houses. Linda, John, and their teams do such a good job of working together to make not only their open houses, but the bride and groom’s special day, go superbly! We’re always impressed with what they are able to do!

September 20, 2010 ~ Shadow Buddies

September 21st, 2010

For the second year in a row, KC Photobooth was a part of the Shadow Buddies Annual Benefit Dinner. It’s a night of mingling, dinner, and lots of fundraising! This includes a silent and live auction, where KC Photobooth has been happy to donate a 4-hour photobooth rental to the live auction for the past two years. It’s a small way that we can help out a great cause! Shadow Buddies works with hospitals nationwide, hoping to add some cheer and hope to children’s lives as they undergo treatments for numerous illnesses, both terminal and not.

This year, we had Andrew Cook emcee the cocktail hour from the photobooth! Yes, that is David Cook’s brother. It didn’t take much encouragement  before people were hopping in the photobooth with him for some pictures! Of course, people took pictures without him as well. Take a look!

September 19, 2010 ~ Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show

September 20th, 2010

KC Photobooth decided to change things up a little bit at this Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show. We created a brand-new backdrop for our booth, and we feel it showed the elegance and dedication that we put into everything that we do. We were able to showcase our large photostrip product, which is a unique way to personalize the photobooth for any bride and groom; it then turns into a keepsake, along with their photo guestbook, that they can cherish for years.

This was also the debut for our new Extended Photobooth at a PWG bridal show. Our Extended Photobooth allows “More Space, More People, and More Fun”; you can have the sleek look of a real, authentic photobooth that does not come apart and won’t fall over, and yet still have lots of room for lots of people! Check out how much fun numerous people had in the photobooths!

September 19, 2010 ~ Bikers for Babies

September 20th, 2010

The March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Kansas City took place at the Kansas Speedway on Sunday, September 19th. More than 6,000 bikers rode in the 115 mile ride, raising more than $700,000! “It was an amazing feeling being a part of such a great cause,” commented Angie, one of our on-site coordinators who worked the photobooth at the event. Bikers for Babies seeks to raise awareness and funding for maternal and infant health programs.

The day began quite foggy, but it turned into a beautiful day, filled with bikes, fun, and of course, lots and lots of photostrips! Check ‘em out!

September 18, 2010 – Katie & Craig

September 20th, 2010

Katie and Craig took advantage of our one-time bridal show special and had us at their three hour reception. They introduced KC Photobooth to the Webster House downtown. What a unique venue! It serves as an antique store during the day, yet moonlights as an event space.

Katie looked stunning in her dress, and Craig, we have to say, looked pretty good as well! We were glad that we were able to provide a photobooth for them and their guests. We know that their photo guestbook will be something they cherish for a long, long time.

Congratulations, Katie and Craig!

September 18, 2010 ~ Sandra & Carleton

September 20th, 2010

Sandra and Carleton chose the Grandview Elks Lodge as the backdrop for their reception. You could definitely tell that they were so ready and happy to be finally married to each other! Their guests joined in their celebration and just couldn’t get enough of the photobooth! As always, KC Photobooth does a last call well in advance of “quittin’ time”, just so the guests have one last opportunity to get in the photobooth; along with last call, if there’s a line when the rental period is over, we stick around and wait for the line to finish. There was quite a line when our pick-up crew got to the Elks Lodge, and we had no problem with making sure that Sandra and Carleton’s guests got to be in their photo guestbook.

Congratulations, Sandra and Carleton!

September 18, 2010 ~ Jennifer and Curtis

September 20th, 2010

Jenny and Curtis chose to have their reception at the Airline History Museum at the Kansas City Downtown Airport. What a unique setting for a party – and that’s definitely what their guests did! They had a distinct vision for what they wanted their reception to be, and KC Photobooth was happy to be a part of it!

Among the several planes positioned throughout the hangar, there was a “lounge” area for cocktails, complete with white leather couches and chairs; guests could browse through the planes; and their guests just couldn’t wait to get into the photobooth! Our on-site coordinators, Max and Katrina, told us about how there was a constant line for the photobooth and that the guests just couldn’t get enough of it! KC Photobooth doesn’t like to disappoint, and this was one occasion where that couldn’t have been further from happening!

Congratulations, Jenny and Curtis!

September 18, 2010 ~ Amy Jo & Jacob

September 20th, 2010

Amy Jo and Jacob held their wedding reception at Abe & Jake’s Landing in Lawrence, Kansas. This reception was much anticipated by KC Photobooth, mainly because when we first talked with Amy, we weren’t sure if we could get a photobooth into this venue. However, hard work and perseverance prevailed, and we made it happen! Amy was so relieved and happy that KC Photobooth would be able to provide the photobooth for her special day!

Amy looked amazing in her dress from Bridal Extraordinaire! It was definitely a family occasion: her cousin did the flowers and her aunt made their wedding cake! A lot of love and effort was put into making their day special. Unfortunately, our on-site coordinators told us that Amy had to leave her reception to be taken to the emergency room; we certainly pray that everything turned out okay.

While Amy was unable to stay at her reception to enjoy the photobooth, her guests put their heart and soul into making her photo guestbook something even more special. Check out their fun and creativity!

It seems that the wedding day was rocky, but still, we have to say, Congratulations, Amy and Jacob!

September 18, 2010 – Nicole & Nick

September 20th, 2010

Nicole and Nick chose the Historic Longview Mansion as the setting for their wedding day events. They really wanted their culture and heritage to be a part of their special day. During the ceremony, they did a butterfly release while a Native American poem was read, signifying the release of hopes and dreams into the world.

The florals and décor were designed and provided by Studio Dan Meiners. A string quartet provided the background for the ceremony while All Ears DJ, out of Lawrence, entertained the guests during the reception. Of course, KC Photobooth aided in the entertainment factor! Nicole and Nick decided to have our original photobooth personalized further than just having the large photostrip, by having their names in lights on top of the photobooth. They even provided their own props for their guests to get wild and goofy in the photobooth. Just check out all the fun they had!

Congratulations, Nicole and Nick!
