It’s sad that other companies try to fool others by trying to be something (or someone) that they’re not. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; however, when it comes to someone’s very special day, or a corporate event going for the best, or even a backyard party, it doesn’t sit right with us that other companies are using KC Photobooth (or some form of our name) as a way to trick potential clients into thinking they are us.

September 19, 2010 ~ Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show

KC Photobooth decided to change things up a little bit at this Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show. We created a brand-new backdrop for our booth, and we feel it showed the elegance and dedication that we put into everything that we do. We were able to showcase our large photostrip product, which is a unique way to personalize the photobooth for any bride and groom; it then turns into a keepsake, along with their photo guestbook, that they can cherish for years.

This was also the debut for our new Extended Photobooth at a PWG bridal show. Our Extended Photobooth allows “More Space, More People, and More Fun”; you can have the sleek look of a real, authentic photobooth that does not come apart and won’t fall over, and yet still have lots of room for lots of people! September 12, 2010 – The Big Reveal

Have you ever seen five, yes five (5), photobooths lined up right next to each other, all ready to take pictures at once? Well, there is proof now, and KC Photobooth is the only photobooth company in Kansas City that has the capability to accomplish this feat and have four photobooths in other places as well.

We were all over the place on September 12th! KC Photobooth had five of our original photobooths at Studio Dan Meiners, one extended photobooth at The Sawyer Room, and one extended photobooth at The Berg Event Space, all for The Big Reveal! (We also had an original and an extended photobooth at The Ritz Charles Bridal Show on the same day!) It was quite a day, filled with outstanding pictures and great contacts! Be sure to check out The Big Reveal! It definitely adds a twist to the traditional bridal show!

September 12, 2010 – Ritz Charles Bridal Show

September 12th was a busy day for KC Photobooth, and the Ritz Charles was right in the middle of it! (We were also at The Big Reveal!) We always enjoy being a part of the Ritz Charles’ bridal shows and open houses. Chris and Chelsey had a really good time talking with numerous brides; we even had several brides request that Chris and Chelsey be the on-site coordinators for their reception! Of course, we had an original photobooth and an extended photobooth at the Ritz Charles; KC Photobooth wants to make sure our brides are able to choose exactly what they want!

Tuscan Ballroom Open House

There’s always those venues that you love going back to, and the Tuscan Ballroom is one of them! We enjoy being a part of their Open House, not only because we love meeting new brides and other vendors, but because we get to add a little bit more fun to the occasion. Having a photobooth at an event always adds fun, regardless of the type of event!

It was nice to talk with the brides and vendors. We always wonder how everyone else is doing; we just don’t always get the time to catch up. And as always, it’s always fun to meet new brides, and even past ones! We didn’t realize it until we were there, but three other vendors at the Open House were past brides & grooms of ours!

Deer Creek Bridal Show

It’s always a pleasure to work with Linda and her crew at the Deer Creek Golf Club. We enjoyed getting to talk with several brides on Deer Creek’s turf during their Bridal Show and Open House. It’s always a good showing.

Linda and her team work very hard to make everything perfect for every bride and groom who come through the door. The caliber of the other vendors that are there also speaks highly to what Deer Creek Golf Club does. If you’re looking for a venue, get ahold of Linda and see what Deer Creek can do for you!

KC Weddings Bridal Spectacular

Once again, we were proud to be a sponsor at the KC Weddings Bridal Spectacular on July 24th! This show was our grand introduction of our new extended photobooths! We were very happy with the response from the brides (and even the grooms who came too!) regarding the extra space, and therefore the extra fun, that our new booths provide. We now have eight photobooths total, two of them being our new extended version!

We enjoyed talking with many, many brides about what we offer and how much more fun KC Photobooth can provide to a wedding reception. It was nice to catch up with some other vendors we hadn’t seen in a while.

Congratulations to Gerime Smith, the winner of our $500 off drawing!

Being Kansas City’s Premier Provider of Photobooths, creativity has played a big part in everything that we offer and provide. Whitney, Patty’s daughter and pretty much the reason KC Photobooth started back in 2007, came up with the idea to do a Brady Bunch photostrip. May 21, 2010 – The Big Reveal!

The Premiere of The Big Reveal was such a wonderful success! Imagine a Bridal Show mixed with First Fridays in the Crossroads District mixed with a Bar Crawl and you’ve got The Big Reveal! Brides and Grooms were escorted around 7 different venues in the Crossroads District including: Nara, The Gown Gallery, The Hemingway Gallery, Studio B, Retro Downtown, Cellar 222, and Stacey Schmitz Photography. Limos, Party Buses and Trolleys transported everyone from venue to venue to enjoy free wine tastings, mini makeovers, sushi, dance lessons, KC Photobooth photostrips and couples/group photos by professional photographers….All for just $10!

An after party was hosted at Grinder’s with the band 90 Minutes providing live music! Also, all guests were entered into a drawing to win one of over 35 different prizes from vendors involved in The Big Reveal!

What an innovative idea turned successful event! We hope that The Big Reveal will become bigger and better with each event! Thanks to everyone who came out and made the premeire event such a success!
