September 16, 2010 – Town Pavilion Catering Fair

September 17th, 2010

Sharon at Town Pavilion downtown wanted to make sure her guests for her annual catering fair had a photobooth to add even more to her event – so she called KC Photobooth! We had a great time talking with numerous people about what we are able to provide! The catering samples were amazing too! Sharon puts so much effort into this event every year, from bringing in countless caterers to independent jewelry shops to other event ideas. It’s definitely an event we can’t wait to do again next year! Thanks for giving us a call, Sharon!

Now, check out the fun that everyone had in the photobooth!

The Young Presidents Organization in Mission Hills, Kansas just couldn’t go without a photobooth for their YPO Woodstock, and KC Photobooth did not disappoint! The party was complete with the photobooth, Bonterra’s Catering, The Magic Bus, inflatables, air-brush tattoos, a DJ, and much more! The Magic Bus was limited to only the teenagers, but the photobooth was open the entire party for anyone who was feelin’ groovy enough to take some pictures!

We had a groovin’ time making sure everyone had a photostrip keepsake to take home as a momento of this awesome party! It sure was hot outside, but it was definitely worth it!

The University of Kansas Student Union Activities Council decided to have KC Photobooth back again this year for their Student Union Activities Carnival. The Carnival is a “Welcome Back” for the students. They always have carnival rides, including The Sizzler and two different ferris wheels! KC Photobooth was positioned between the DJ and the air-brush tattoos, but no one had any trouble finding where we were! We think they even had more fun with the photobooth this year than they did last year!

The students and faculty, alike, had a blast hopping into the photobooth with props, provided by the SUA Council, making sure they made the craziest photostrips possible! We even provided a new offering, as requested by KU – we made it to where the backdrop in the photobooth was KU red instead of just white! We may have to look further into this offering!

But while we’re thinking about it, be sure to check out how much fun these college students had!

The residents of the Stoneridge Subdivision in Blue Springs, Missouri couldn’t have been happier to have KC Photobooth as a part of their Mexican Fiesta Block Party! We provided our extended photobooth in order for more people to be able to make memories together! Since the block party was outdoors, we even set up one of our tents to shade the photobooth from the sun. Everyone, of all ages, absolutely had a great time in the photobooth! Be sure to check out how much fun they had! ¡Muy bueno!

The University of Missouri – Kansas City has built a new Student Union Building. August 22nd was the grand opening of the building, and what better way to celebrate than to have a photobooth for students to take pictures in? There’s only one thing better: having TWO photobooths! We provided both of our extended photobooths for their grand opening celebration. There were tours of the new building and they even provided free food for the students who showed up. There was even an amount of time where the students had been told that they couldn’t get free food unless they could show a photostrip with them in the pictures! Let’s just say the line was very long during that time period; we didn’t have time to breathe the entire time we were there. Everyone was having soooo much fun!

There was a twist to having the photobooth there as well. Since the photobooth prints duplicate copies every time it prints, we dressed one copy up the way we do and put the other copy into UMKC’s own photo guestbook. We have been told that the photo guestbook is being put into the University Archives, where future generations can see the fun that everyone had at the grand opening of the Student Union Building.

Thanks for letting KC Photobooth be a part of UMKC’s celebration! We had a great time!

The Kansas City Country Club decided to have us at their annual Swim and Dive Awards Banquet this year. Our on-site coordinators were greeted with a line of children ready to take pictures! And this was when they got there an hour before photobooth start time! They even asked us to stay later because the kids were having so much fun! We had our borders software turned on and they loved it! “I’m with stupid…” photostrips and “Wanted” posters are littering these kids’ rooms, we’re sure of it! Check out the fun they had!

Milburn Country Club asked us to help keep the children entertained, in addition to the DJ, at their annual Swim and Dive Awards Banquet. We honestly feel that we lived up to what they asked and expected! These children were ecstatic for the photobooth! Most of them had seen it at the Swim and Dive Championships earlier in the week. There was already a line waiting when our on-site coordinators arrived an hour before we were supposed to start taking pictures! We had the borders part of our software turned on and the children enjoyed picking out their favorite borders for their photostrips. See how much fun they had!

Indian Hills Country Club had KC Photobooth come in to provide some entertainment during their Disco Dive, Swim & Dive Championships on July 6th and 7th. They had the photobooth and several video games for the kids to enjoy themselves when they weren’t competing. Boy, did they enjoy our new extended photobooth! It was perfect for the divers to hop into with their plaques or ribbons after they had finished competing! There was a long line of kids both days; they just couldn’t get enough!

We haven’t really used the “Borders” portion of our software before; this was a much welcomed addition! The kids LOVED picking out the border that they wanted before they got into the photobooth. The most popular borders were “Wanted” posters and “I’m with stupid…”. Adam, one of our on-site coordinators, enjoyed working with the kids both days, although he has been reassured that children are a ways off for him and his wife.
