October 16, 2010 ~ Annie & TJ

October 18th, 2010

Annie and TJ chose the skyline view of the Boulevard Brewery as the backdrop for their reception, and we knew exactly which on-site coordinators to send – our beer guru Chris! Chris told us that Annie and TJ’s guests came prepared to have some fun, and boy did they ever! There was so much creativity in the photobooth! We have to say, KC Photobooth looks pretty good fitting in with the city skyline.

Annie also inquired as to adding a little bit more to her photo guestbook. We sent the pages for her guestbook with her when her and TJ came in for their large photostrip pictures; she then added elegant backgrounds and mattings that tied the guestbook more into her colors and decorations. It was a great addition!

Congratulations, Annie and TJ!

October 16, 2010 ~ Forster Family Fall Fun Festival

October 18th, 2010

KC Photobooth revisited the Forster Family Fall Fun Festival this year. We joined them for the festivities last year when they were celebrating Dan’s birthday. This year, it was Kathy’s turn! For the past two years, the Forsters have won a four hour photobooth event at the Shadow Buddies annual live auction fundraiser. They loved it last year; they just had to have it again!

This year, the theme was coupled between Halloween and The Wizard of Oz – a clear favorite of Kathy’s! In attendance was Dorothy (Kathy), Tin-Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Glinda the good witch, Elpheba the wicked witch, and the Wizard himself (all family members)! It was a great party and everyone had a great time getting in the photobooth to create a birthday keepsake for Kathy. Here’s to next year!

October 16, 2010 ~ Carrie & Jordan

October 18th, 2010

We first met Carrie and Jordan at a Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show. Jordan owns BerryGood Video, and since their engagement, has started teaching Carrie the ropes of videography. They do AMAZING work! During the intermittent slow-downs at the bridal show (not that they happen constantly), Jordan and Carrie (as well as our friends from PhotosEdge) had a blast taking pictures in the photobooth! They knew they just had to have KC Photobooth at their wedding reception!

And the rest, as they say, is history… Jordan and Carrie chose Lone Summit Ranch as the setting, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. An elegant outdoor ceremony led the way to a fantastic and fun reception, one that their guests just couldn’t get enough of the photobooth. Check out the fun their guests had making memories that Jordan and Carrie will cherish forever!

Congratulations, Jordan and Carrie!

October 16, 2010 ~ Kimberly & Bobby

October 18th, 2010

Kimberly and Bobby took KC Photobooth back to a venue that we absolutely love: The Tuscan Ballroom! Situated slightly northeast of Liberty, Missouri, the Tuscan Ballroom provides absolute country elegance to any type of event. After the ceremony, the guests poured into the ballroom and bar area where the photobooth was waiting for them. We had been requested to have guests first take pictures normally (well, as normal as photobooth pictures can be), and then allow the use of props provided by the couple. Their guests had an absolute blast getting in and out of the photobooth putting on funny hats, creating a photo guestbook for the happy couple!

Congratulations, Kimberly and Bobby!

October 15, 2010 ~ Megan & Chase

October 18th, 2010

Megan and Chase selected the Berg Event Space as the setting for their ceremony and reception. They used a rather cool logo throughout their planning, incorporating it into their invitations, making it their customized fourth frame on the photostrips, and even used the curved metal wall at the Berg to display it for their special day! It tied everything together. Our on-site coordinators commented on the gorgeous Fall colors and especially liked the very intimate ceremony.

Their reception had many unique and fun aspects! They provided a mac & cheese bar during dinner, had doughnuts for their guests instead of cake, and had KC Photobooth there to provide the favors. Of course, we were assembling a photo guestbook for Megan and Chase throughout the evening, putting together messages and photostrips from their guests!

Congratulations, Megan and Chase!

October 14, 2010 ~ Hotel Phillips Corporate Open House

October 15th, 2010

The Hotel Phillips asked KC Photobooth to be at their Open House when they would be entertaining and thanking their corporate clients. We were happy to oblige. It was great talking with so many people and having them take pictures! See what they did!

October 13, 2010 ~ Metropolitan Community College, Longview

October 15th, 2010

MCC – Longview called KC Photobooth because they just wanted a photobooth on a random day for their students! We set up in the commons/cafeteria area, and the students had a blast! After they realized that the photostrips were free (as they are with 99.9% of our events – we only charge if the client requests that we do; we all know the sayings about college students’ budget), they didn’t have any problem with hopping in the photobooth to have some fun. They kept us busy from that moment on until it was time for us to go. Check out what they came up with in the photobooth!

October 10, 2010 ~ Lisa & Ryan

October 11th, 2010

Lisa and Ryan introduced KC Photobooth to the Arts Incubator for their wedding reception. What a unique, eclectic space. The loft event space on the top floor has quite a view of the downtown area. We were set up in the artist’s space just outside the loft space, but Lisa and Ryan’s guests didn’t have any problems finding the photobooth to add even more fun to the evening! Operation First KC Photobooth Event at the Arts Incubator = Success!

Congratulations, Lisa and Ryan!

October 10, 2010 ~ Jay & Ron

October 11th, 2010

Jay and Ron held their wedding reception at the Lenexa Conference Center on a perfect wedding date – 10/10/10. The space was decorated in gorgeous Autumn colors, and even incorporated lanterns and pumpkins as centerpieces. It was a fun, fall wedding! Jay and Ron definitely entertained their guests during their first dance as they performed a swing dance number! Kansas City Wedding DJ (who was actually the groom’s cousin) provided the music for the dance floor while KC Photobooth added even more entertainment with the photobooth! Jay even asked us to incorporate Autumn colors into their fourth frame customization, using polka dots!

Congratulations, Jay and Ron!

October 9, 2010 ~ Kari & Ben

October 11th, 2010

Kari and Ben chose the Terrace on Grand, located in downtown Kansas City, for their reception. Coupled with its rooftop view, this urban loft space is the perfect setting for any event, especially a wedding reception! KC Photobooth was set up right in the middle of where all the action was taking place, so Kari and Ben’s photo guestbook was packed full with awesome and entertaining photostrips for them to laugh at and enjoy later.

Congratulations, Kari and Ben!
