October 9, 2010 ~ Katie & Caleb

October 11th, 2010

Katie and Caleb took KC Photobooth back to Topeka, Kansas as they chose St. Matthew’s Parish Hall as the setting for their reception. The room was decorated in red, black, and oatmeal accents. A portrait display was set up in the middle of the room, documenting their journey together. Musical Knights made sure the dance floor was packed throughout the evening, and KC Photobooth was there to make sure their guestbook was filled with memories and messages from their guests!

Congratulations, Katie and Caleb!

October 9, 2010 ~ Amanda & David

October 11th, 2010

Amanda and David entertained their guests at the uniquely rural Lone Summit Ranch during their reception. We had never seen the room so transformed! It was amazingly elegant and classy! You could definitely tell that a lot of effort and love went into every aspect of the day!

KC Photobooth was more than delighted to provide the photobooth! The guests couldn’t get enough of it! Amanda and David’s photo guestbook took away a photo guestbook filled with tons of memories and personal messages from their guests. It was truly a good day!

Congratulations, Amanda and David!

October 8, 2010 ~ Brooke & Travis

October 11th, 2010

Brooke and Travis selected the Tuscan Ballroom just northeast of Liberty, Missouri as the perfect setting for their wedding ceremony and reception. The Vineyard Room was packed as Brooke walked down the aisle to a remix of Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are”; this was the first time we heard the song used for a wedding, not that we were surprised. Their ceremony was precise and to the point, and then it was time to party!

KC Photobooth was there, ready and waiting for their guests to walk through the foyer of the Tuscan Ballroom and into the ballroom and bar area to use the photobooth. Their guests were making memories in the photobooth for the happy couple from the get-go. Everyone enjoyed their time, and KC Photobooth was happy to be a part of their special day!

Congratulations, Brooke and Travis!

October 6, 2010 ~ Just Like You

October 8th, 2010

KC Photobooth was honored to be a part of Just Like You’s most recent film premiere. Just Like You is an organization that produces movies that feature children that have been through unique and trying circumstances. The film premiere KC Photobooth attended featured children with cancer. The point of Just Like You’s films is to show that children that are different just because they have cancer, or some other trying circumstance, are just like everyone else: they have dreams, hopes, and want to live like everyone else! We were very touched by the attitudes and demeanors of everyone, from the children starring in the film, to those who attended, to those who planned the event. It was a remarkable experience, and KC Photobooth was there for people to take home memories from the night.

October 6, 2010 ~ Humane Society of Greater Kansas City

October 8th, 2010

Back in June, KC Photobooth was going to participate in the Dog’N’Jog put on by the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City; unfortunately, massive, heavy downpours and flood warnings prevents us from doing so. Our equipment, like all other photobooths, is electronic, so we decided that it was best for all concerned that we not chance electrocution or damage to the photobooths. So, in return, KC Photobooth participated in the Humane Society’s fundraiser held at McCormick & Schmick’s on the Plaza. Chris and Chelsey, our on-site coordinators for the evening, said it was great to see dogs and their owners getting into our new Extended Photobooth and taking pictures. We constructed a photo guestbook for the Humane Society that they can keep in their office to browse whenever they feel they want to. It was a great time!

October 2, 2010 ~ Children’s Miracle Network

October 4th, 2010

KC Photobooth was happy to be able to be a part of the Children’s Miracle Network Fall Fun Fest held at KU Med’s Kirmeyer Fitness Center. This was an excellent event for families, adults and children, with an ill family member or friend, to enjoy themselves playing games, painting, knitting, jumping in a bounce house, and of course taking pictures in our Extended Photobooth. Everyone had tons of fun! No one left without a prize from the event. We even had Mrs. Missouri in the photobooth! The smiles that we saw on so many faces let us know that this was for a good cause.

October 2, 2010 ~ Chelsie & Tyler

October 4th, 2010

Chelsie and Tyler chose the Vox Theatre as the setting for their reception. KC Photobooth has been there before, and it’s always nice to be in attendance again. This couple really put us to work; let’s just say that Adam, our semi-graphic-designer (I have a Master’s of Accountancy degree), wishes that we had discovered Photoshop before October. It was a challenge, but we were able to give Chelsie and Tyler exactly what they wanted for their fourth frame customization and their customized stickers for the Plastic Sleeve Favor Service. What can we say, everyone at KC Photobooth goes the extra mile to make sure the bride and groom’s special day goes off without a hitch!

Congratulations, Chelsie and Tyler!

October 1, 2010 ~ ACLU

October 4th, 2010

KC Photobooth was asked to provide a photobooth for the ACLU’s Art of Expression Event held at Studio Dan Meiners – Pennway Place Event Space. They were going to incorporate the photobooth into the overall fundraising atmosphere of the evening. Throughout the night, as people took pictures in the photobooth, one photostrip would go into plastic with ribbon as a favor, and the other photostrip would go to a couple of artists who were constructing a lamp shade out of the photostrips. The lamp was then auctioned off at the end of the night as part of the live auction. Patty had seen how much work was going into the making of the lamp, so she decided it would be a nice keepsake for KC Photobooth. The lamp now graces our studio.

September 26, 2010 ~ Ambra & Chris’ Engagement Party

September 27th, 2010

Close family friends of Ambra and Chris decided they wanted KC Photobooth to be at the engagement party they were hosting for the couple. The setting was a new one for KC Photobooth, but we look forward to being there again sometime in the future: Michael Smith Restaurant, located downtown.

We were set up as the guests arrived so they could take some pictures to create a photo guestbook for the evening during the cocktail hour. The messages left by their guests were some of the most meaningful we have seen. It was a special event that KC Photobooth was proud to be a part of.

Congratulations to Ambra and Chris!

September 25, 2010 ~ Caroline & Luke

September 27th, 2010

Caroline and Luke chose the elegant Oakwood Country Club as the setting for their awesome reception! Caroline is one of KC Photobooth’s on-site coordinators, and we were really excited to be a part of her special day! The reception, however, did not occur the day of their wedding. Caroline and Luke escaped to Vegas (as they had already planned) to get married. Caroline wore a traditional wedding dress for the cocktail hour of the reception, and then changed into the dress she wore down the aisle in Vegas!

We even wanted to stay when we arrived to pick up the photobooth! The KC All Stars Band had everyone out on the dance floor. Caroline and Luke’s guests absolutely loved the photobooth, and Caroline and Luke now have an amazing photo guestbook!

Congratulations, Caroline and Luke!
