October 30, 2010 ~ Jennifer & Jake

October 31st, 2010

Jennifer and Jake selected a reception site that will forever hold a special place in the heart of those behind KC Photobooth – The Hawthorne House. The Hawthorne House was where Adam and Whitney (Patty’s daughter) got married; it was Adam and Whitney’s wedding that prompted Patty to purchase the first photobooth, starting KC Photobooth down the amazing journey we’ve been on!

But, back to Jennifer and Jake! We first met them at Michael Nolte’s “WHITE”, an annual bridal show where you can meet the top wedding professionals in Kansas City. Michael Nolte was the wedding planner, and everything was exquisite! The centerpieces were spectacular, incorporating tall florals and candles into the tablescapes. Everyone had a great time, and the photobooth pictures were awesome! Check ‘em out!

Congratulations, Jennifer and Jake!

Julie and Daniel chose one of KC Photobooth’s favorite settings for their wedding, the Hawthorne House in Parkville, Missouri. The couple and their guests enjoyed an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn of the Hawthorne House, with the gazebo as the altar. Daniel wore his military uniform and Julie looked stunning in her gown!

Everyone had a good time at the reception! The tables in the Emerson Room looking extravagant with centerpieces made of silver vases with complete with white florals! The guests enjoyed the food, had a blast dancing, and all the while couldn’t get enough of the photobooth throughout the evening! This was the first time our extended photobooth had been to the Hawthorne House, and it did not let anybody down! Be sure to check out the fun that was captured in photostrip format at Julie and Daniel’s reception!

Congratulations, Julie and Daniel!

Barbie and Mike had their wedding reception at the Hawthorne House in Parkville, Missouri. They had the wedding ceremony outside on the lawn in front of the Gazebo. This wedding was long looked forward to, as the Bride and Groom had been dating for 11 years before the wedding!! It took Mike 10 years to propose! (Sorry, Mike; we know you’ve probably gotten this a lot.)

The speeches were phenomenal, recounting memories past with friends and family. A family member also shared a heartfelt poem during the speeches. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away; however, they took breaks quite often to pay a visit to their friendly photobooth! Check out the great pictures!

Congratulations, Barbie & Mike!

apb_2010_0530_221749Megan & Thad had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hawthorne House. The cake was provided by Caren’s Cakes: delicious as always! She also created a Groom’s cake inspired by the Groom’s favorite Shaved Ice place in Hawaii, where Megan & Thad will be spending their honeymoon! The wedding colors were purple and pearl, representing pancreatic cancer and lung cancer. Family members of Megan & Thad had pancreatic and lung cancer, so it was important to them to represent them.

You may notice that a lot of the pictures include one person. His name is Kyle (Brother of the Groom) and he was on a quest to have the best photostrip of the night. I think he succeeded. He ALSO succeeded in beating our standing record of 15 trips to the photobooth.

What do you think?
