Jessica & Ryan chose the always elegant Hilton President to be the setting for their wedding reception. Everyone at the Hilton President is always so nice to work with; they really work hard to make every event perfect! KC Photobooth is always glad to add to the fun of the event!

Ryan is a professional football player who is now playing for our very own Kansas City Chiefs! He’s a Kansas City native; he played for Shawnee Mission Northwest! Go Cougars! He met Jessica in high school; however, it wasn’t until they got reacquainted at their high school reunion that the romance started. And the rest is history…

Except that everything at the reception was brilliant and phenomenal! Jessica’s dress was amazing (we wish we knew where she go it)! There was a variety of specialty desserts as well as food provided throughout the entire night! To top everything off, they even surprised their guests with a Michael Jackson impersonator from 80sMichael.com!

Katherine & Andy had their wedding reception at the Hilton President. This black tie event was perfect for the Hilton’s Congress Ballroom! All the guests had a blast in the photobooth after they arrived from the ceremony which was held at Our Lady of Sorrows.

Jenny & Kevin had their wedding reception at the Hilton President! Their wedding coordinator was Holly with Simple Elegance. We have worked with Simple Elegance on multiple events and they are always simply awesome. Of course, this event was no exception! Jenny’s favorite color is obviously yellow – there was a LOT of yellow in the decor, complete with a completely yellow candy bar! Instead of a traditional cake, they opted for cupcakes! The DJ was Danny Goyer with Elite Encore Entertainment (one of our favorite DJs!).

Rachel & Allen had their wedding reception at the Hilton President. The reception was beautifully decorated in Lemon Grass and French Pink. But possibly the most unique thing had nothing to do with the Bride and Groom and more to do with one, shall we say…bold groomsman. Bold. Bald.

Shall we take a poll? How many Brides would be OK if a groomsman shaved his head like this the night before the wedding?? I’ll tell you from personal experience that I would NOT be happy. The whole point of a wedding is to celebrate the marriage of the Bride and Groom. Drawing attention to yourself like this…probably not the best idea.

We hope that this didn’t ruin the day for Rachel & Allen…everyone else certainly took plenty of great pictures!
